 How Do I Start?

You will need to make a profile in order to access any password protected pages on the site.

  • Click on the Classmate Bios link or on the Missing Classmates link. This will take you to a page with all your classmate names, including yours.
  • Find your name and click on it.
  • Follow the prompts to create your profile.
  • The password that you enter during this process will be used as your login password.
  • You can personalize your page with information such as what have you been up to since graduation, school memories, your family, and photos.

If you cannot find your name page please Contact Us and your name will be added.

Does the public have access to my profile or other information?

You choose your privacy settings when you create your profile (or any time thereafter). Your information can be open for all to see, or can be blocked from the general public and search engines and seen only by classmates upon login.

You also choose how much of your bio can be seen by classmates: narrative info only and/or contact information. Once you create a profile, you will also be able to see the profiles of your fellow classmates and interact with them. Click the Edit Profile link, then scroll down to the bottom of the page to make your choice.

Can I post photos or video?
  • Yes! You can upload a current photo of yourself, your family, pets, vacations, old photos from days gone by, past reunions, etc. -- anything you want to share -- by clicking on Edit/Upload Photos under the Member Functions menu on the left.
  • There is no limit on the number of digital photos that you can store on your Classmate Bios page. Each photo is automatically resized to fit on your page.
  • You can also upload your own videos that you've posted to by clicking on the Classmate Profiles link, then following the instructions.
  • You can add, delete, or replace your own photos or videos at any time.

Can I send email?

If you send a message to a classmate through his or her bio, your email address will then be available to that classmate.

What's my login?

Login with the e-mail address you provided during your member account set up. If you cannot remember which email address you used, or if you no longer have access to that e-mail address, click on Contact Us (this goes to Jim, Jeanne and Kay) and provide your new e-mail address. Your login email will then be changed and you'll receive you a temporary password. Once you've logged in using your new e-mail address and temporary password, change your password by clicking the Change Your Password link under the Member Functions menu on the home page.

If you remember your e-mail address but you forgot your password, click on the Forgot Password? link right above the green Log On button, and new password will be automatically generated and sent to you within a few minutes.

Will I receive emails about the reunion?

E-mails to the entire class from one of the administrators (Jeanne, Jim, Kay) will be sent from Email will be kept to a minimum and will be limited to idetails about the upcoming reunion, general class announcements and other reunion news. In addition, an automatic reminder e-mail will be sent to you each New Year's Day suggesting that the start of the new year is a good time to update your Classmate Bio.

You can send e-mails to our website administrators, (Jeanne, Jim, Kay), by clicking on the Contact Us link.

Where'd the website come from?

The reunion website application is from ClassCreator (more info can be found on the ClassCreator site), a reunion website company. After tossing out the idea to the BHS Class of '79 facebook group, turns-out everyone was in favor of using about $475 of our leftover funds for 5 years of online goodness. We'll see how the site performs and reevaluate in five years.

Through the site we can send email notices and save on snail mail costs; and by classmates utilizing the Classmate Bio, we'll save on costs of printing up a booklet; AND over the long term, since classmate information will be housed online in one place, the site has the potential to save time when it comes time to organize for the 40th reunion!

Currently, administrators of the website are Jim Seas, Jeanne Ulmer and Kay Huggins Becker...Jeanne is dropping in most of the info, Jim and Kay are on the administrator list in case anything happens to Jeanne. If you've got a bit of basic HTML understanding, please email us (use the Contact Us link) -- we'd love to have you as a wing man!

What does ClassCreator do with my information?
